Hi wondered if you guys could help i am about to order some alloy door skins from DSN classics as they seem to be the ones most people recommend on the mini forums, also i need a pair of bottom repair sections as they are a bit rusty, are the ones from DSN any good or should i order them from someone else? any help would be appreciated.

if ordering from dsn, make sure that the products you selected are the ones that are in the basket before you pay

i ordered left and right repair sections, and got one repair section and a rear valance

they tried to claim i ordered the wrong stuff, but after a rather lengthy and heated conversation with a chap there, he conceeded it was an picking error on the website

besides that the repair sections were quite good

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

I would expect all the door repair sections are made by merlin panels (iirc) or Hadrian. I don't think there are that many companys making patern mini panels for this area of the shell.

Out of curiosity, how rusty are your doors? I usualy find that I don't need the whole repair panel. Most of the time a folded over bit of steel will do the job nicely and for a fraction of the price.

I used the moss ones which I think were made by magnum(??)

They needed a little bit of bending to give the door bottom its original curve and the corner sections needed played about with a small amount to get perfect but overall I would say they were pretty good.

Cheers Ross.
