just tried fitting my cossie intercooler and i am having trouble making it fit i even cut off most of the metal from the unit itself!

What is it fowling exactly? Mine is a 2WD unit and with a side rad and stock round nose it fits OK I guess. The problem is even if you ditch the dizzy and get a small alternator it still won't really go behind the grill, mine is a little higher behind the curve of the front of the bonnet.
