Guys,
BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

use a ball join socket its just long enough to not need an extension peice either. dont know the size though sorry ill measure in the morning if no one else has beat me Yes i moved to the darkside |

I stuck the socket on with a big bar on the end of it then pushed the engine over. Came loose after a fight.

A terrace is a very handy tool for this job. Along with mr. long steel bar :)

The way I get my pinions off (oohh arrgh), is to put a 2 ft piece of 3x2 wood through the open diff housing and then put the diff cover on and tighten the bolts over the wood (obviously without the diff or side covers fitted !).
Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
