The general plan is to replace as many bolts as possible on my engine/gearbox with High Tensile Cap Head Bolts. I've had a serarch and found the majority of what I'm looking for, but I'm missing a few thread sizes and lengths.

For reference, these 2 threads have been really usefull:

http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=119056

I'm missing:

Transfer Case - Block
Transfer Case - Box
Water Pump Pulley (no fan)
Mpi Crank Sensor
Oil Pickup Pipe (through rear of gear box above the diff)
Left (No 4 piston) Top Engine Steady (Long)
Left (No 4 piston) Top Engine Steady (Short)
Speedo Drive Clamp

I'll be using a MPi block, so things like filter head, fuel pump etc are irrelivant to me.

Had a dig around the mini spares site and found a few:

Transfer Case - Block 5/16 UNF 1" & 1.75"
Transfer Case - Box 5/16 UNC 1" & 1.75"
Water Pump Pulley (no fan) - 1/4 UNF 1/2"
Left (No 4 piston) Top Engine Steady (Long) - 5/16 UNF 1 7/8"
Left (No 4 piston) Top Engine Steady (Short) - 5/16 UNF 1"

never mind high tensile bolts, its the threads that are the problem.... ive lost count of how many threads ive had to repair in the gearbox and surrounding aluminium parts.

So far everything on my box and block have been fine, so as long as I'm careful when I eventually put it all back together...

The stuff going into the gear box is mainly because it will look pretty *wink*

The best way would be to helicoil all the aluminium castings, no problems ever again.
