just want to ask you all..
what is the best gasket for modified mini?
my engine spec is 1275cc bored to 0.20,ported head, stock head stud..

just wondering if the standard copper gasket can withstand the temperature of the engine and in Malaysia...

so can u guys suggest a better head gasket than the original copper?i dont want the head gasket to blown up..

so thinking about BK450,AF460,the competition head gasket or the turbo head gasket..

any suggestion?

BK450 would be my gasket of choice.

Failing that the AF470, pretty much the same just has an additional O-ring for the oil-feed.

A460 is also a very good head gasket. anyway both bk450 / AF460 will do the job

There are pictures of the relevant parts (of an AF470) in this thread

The BK450 is marked the same apart from obviously the number. The two are otherwise identical apart from the O ring around the oil hole that John has already mentioned.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???
