this is my lightened subframe, what do we reckon? any more you think i should do? im a bit reluctant to say the least!

Enlarge your driveshaft holes so you can get the pot joints through - makes life a lot easier.

looks good and safe to me mate, i'm sure others will say you need more and can take more out, but i have seen some crack due to there being to much taken away lol

Mini is about the same - good work on Father's day (kids kept out of my way) and so far all that drilling has saved about a kilo which is bad especially as I have modded the holes in the towers as well! So to get yours to the 9kg John K reckoned a lot more drilling is involved! (7kg reduction)

scruffy, i just attacked them with the gas axe and cut away at the sides (leaving the bit near the droop stop) till the built up pot joint went through

you might need to mig the edges back up after depending on when you cut
