Few weeks ago I decided it'd be fun to turbo my 998, so I've started gathering parts.

So far I've got on my shelf..

- T2 turbo from a Renault 5 R5
- 12g295 head

Off the top of my head I still need..

- Intercooler
- Turbo carb
- Electronic fuel pump
- Plenum (on order from Nic)
- Manifold (think I'll splash out on the Mirage one)

So help me with the above *happy*

What's an ideal intercooler? I've done searches but would like to know the ideal one for my size engine.
same goes with the fuel pump.. would one like the below do?

& the turbo carb, what am I looking out for?

(if I've failed to search properly just link me to the thread and I'll have a read through myself, cheers)

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

for the intercooler, its a case of use what will fit,

that fuel pump is no good, you need an injection style one, and a regultor too, an MPI tank with the fuel pump built in is a neat solution.

Cheers guys, I've dropped Matty a message.

Will get the fuel pump on order.

Also, whats a decent price to pay for a HIF44 turbo carb?

Oh, and what is the intercooler on this..

Would this suit?

Rubicon said his was too big and caused too much lagg, I dont know what the 'ideal' size is for one though.

Or this perhaps, I think I read somewhere on here that it's best to have them slim, with a large surface area.. correct me if I'm wrong.
