Caught my eye as its shiny and new!

It will also fit in the grille, but is it just some tosh? It is a UK based company, although it could come from China.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

looks nice and for that price i would want to know the efficincey of the intercooler and the pressure drop across it ?

Is it worth me taking a chance, I mean I'm only running a timid 998 turbo.. so I'm not exactly pushing anything. Think it's worth a punt?

All of the egay stuff use shite cores from fuck knows where. They usually get away with performing ok because the cores are much bigger than actually needed.

So no doubt it would work fine.

If you look inside the tubes, pressure drop will likely be minimal, because there is very little to restrict the airflow. Of course, the other side of that means that little actual cooling will take place because the air just shoots straight through.

But for a 998 turbo, I'd imagine it would be more than adequate.

Rod S had a thread about these cheaper intercoolers, probably best to look at that as he did some fairly scientific testing

Cheers for the name, I searched for intercoolers and it came up with hundreds of results.

Ours looks very similar to that on the TT, has reasonable looking internals and seems to do the job.

Compared to some of the OEM stuff I've used it looks pretty similar, but I've never tested efficiency, pressure drop or flow. But it's hot at one end and cold at the other, which is all you want.

I'd be interested in to read the thread mentioned above though.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
