BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

our mate Andy Cameron has this problem; the car only gets used about once a year (if that!) and he simply primes it first - no idea what the cause is though or the solution i'm afraid |

brocky, a standard STEEL backed pump is well up to the job around £12 ish from minispares north

i found the problem to my dodgy oil pressure down to a dodgy oil pump gasket

brocky remove that washer over time it will wear out and the debris will enter the engine ............ born out of experience!
