I could spin one up for you if you want. It would be an exact copy of the bottom end of a Lucas distributor, I await the writ.

Be carefull you two (Advantage998 and Sprocket)..... MRA Minis sell coreplugs with there name all over them. I can't see a 27mm one in their catalogue but I'm sure they have it copyrighted or patented.

BTW, if you type "MRA Minis" into Google, the TM link above is third on Google's list. I think Google rank their searches on the number of hits..... Makes you wonder.....

its a real complex design is that, took me all of 5 minutes to 'design' one and I never even got the calipers out to measure anything.

If it doesnt fit, I'll get the development team to redesign it so that it at least fits the hole. Included is an M8 threaded hole in the middle just incase I need to use the slide hammer to pull it back out again if the fit is just a bit too tight, on the chance that the development team still gets it wrong.

PM turbo Phill, if he hasn't got any then use MRA. He was a bit of a twat about it but they are available. However, it seems that they are made to the maximum tollerance, so don't fit all engines; mine for one!

I've used one of Phil's and one of MRA's. the MRA one had to be persuaded in with a mallet, where as Phil's was a much easier fit.

I've bought an MRA one for an A-series not A+ and I don't think the bastard is ever coming out! Had to beat the fucker in with a mallet.

I've also got an A+ one which came in an engine I bought. Put it this way no dizzy clamp required to keep it in place.

Personally I will not be buying another from MRA.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
