in the kent area. i need my arches tubbed and dont really want to do it myself. welding and fab skills not up to it

so anyone in the kent, essex area taht could maybe come give me a hand. give me a price :)

yes i have and no way have i got the confidence nor skill to do this! id rather pay someone to do it

i think it took me 3 hours for the first side and an hour for the second side,
the most time consuming part is rewelding to the rear quarter to stop it warping i got one blob of warp but luckily it fell right on the line where the lower quarter repair panel went,

Main tip to stop the quarters warping is patience, weld half an inch, leave it to cool right down. Weld another half inch further round the panel. etc etc.

i did a couple seconds of weld, maybe 1/8th inch then skipped 3 or 4 inch and another 1/8th inch, i went all the way around the arch then back to the beginning. The next shot went next to the first, worked well

i think i may try it. cutting will be the scaryest part i think. idealy like someone to be there helping but worst comes to the worst.

Not a problem jamz, as I said, I can pop down end of the month. Got welder etc and plenty of metal supplies. Just let me know. :)

awesome so it looks like ive got some help. i didnt relise how many people have tubbed arches. i want to run farily low and this is jsut going to make that cleanrance. i will defo need them tubbed when i get some of carls wheels with slicks.
