Gents

Just wondering if any of you with an internal gear linkage could advise me on where abouts it should be positioned left to right on the tunnel?

I currently have no engine installed so have nothing visually to line it up with?

Left a bit....

really you just need to be happy with the position of it from a driving point of view, the odd half inch left or right will make no difference to the operation.

As jos says, left a bit. in theory you can go a bit highter, lower or either side as the uj's will line it up.

I'd be interested to see your car. The bits I can see look to be done to a high standard

Fit the handbrake first to make sure it clears and you can get your hand down the side i leave the handbrake on 1 click so there is more room, Prawn very kindly gave me all the measurements from his car, i can find you the pic if you like.
