Inner head lining rail if you don`t want a head lining. Tub the rear arches. Flat boot floor perhaps? On 19th Feb, 2011 Miniwilliams said:

I'm getting rid of the battery box in favour of a bracket for a gel battery.

To anyone who has removed the headlining rail, where have you cut it out? and was it just a case of getting stuck in with the angle grinder? would it be possible to send me a picture as thats something i want to do to mine. Thanks in advance.

Bottom of the the door hinge panel where it meets the bottom of the A panel and front of the door step. This is where water gets in and rots out the front of your sills. The panels but up here but are not sealed. Own the day

Cheers Josh, I have replaced both sills and the panel in question and have made sure they are nicely sealed |

Why wouldn't you like to keep the battery where it originally is? On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |

I'm using a Gel battery, so have ellected to move it further up onto the boot floor and loose the battery box. Primarily for weight reduction, but also to remove the box from the flow of air under the car. I will be 'boxing in' the under side of the subframe with ALU sheet so wanted to make it as flat as possible. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Ive moved my battery to above the wok. You may aswell get the weight over the front wheels if you're going to move it. You save plenty of weight in cable too. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel
