hi guys and jo

At the moment im running 12inch wheels and im wondering if the 4pot calipers can fit under 1o inch wheels with smaller disks etc. they are 6X10 wellers if that helps.

It has been done but you have to machine the discs down and the calipers to fit underneath

im un sure what exactly is needed with the turbo 4pots, id imagine disc down to 7.9inch and a new bracket of some sort, the turbo calipers are so bloody heavy i wouldnt bother im running 7.9 inch vented minisport 4 pots under 10x6 weller, that fits and is alot lighter

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

you have not explained what you want properly, are you expecting to fit metro 4 pots or buy in aftermarket ones?

if your looking to buy in then the best for the money is minispares imo

Why do you want to go to 10"? You can run the yoko a048's and have a circumference smaller than what the 10" would be and that means you don't have to change anything. This was discussed not to long ago.

I managed to run 10x6 wellers with 8.4 2 pots on a mini a while ago, used a 10mm spacer and ground a chamfer to the edge of the brake calliper, not tried with 4 pots but im sure the same would apply, if not maybe use a bigger spacer.
Prob not the safest thing to do, but cast iron callipers have a fair bit of meat on them.

I have to say it baffles me why anyone would want to so this, i may stand corrected but i just dont think its all that safe at all there must be more of a side loading on the studs?

in my opinion if you cant get the look safely then dont do it at all

Not a pop at you retro by the way
