What's up with that crank?

It's a CAM1505 with the 1505 grinded off and a new number stamped in it's place?

Is this from the factory?

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

The factory tuftrided cranks, were a 12g1505 forging, but before be tuftrided had the casting number ground off, and were stamped up

I thought this would be the case.
Would this be a good crank for offset grinding for strokers then?

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

It also adds more fuel to the fire about the CAM6581 CAM6232 cranks. As these are cast with the different numbers.

Yes would be a good crank to offset grind, but would probably need hardening again if grinding the big ends to S size when stroking, as tuftriding only hardens the surface

It's interesting. I remember seeing a 6581 that had been stamped like this over 6232.
