Hi all, having a custom turbo manifold made up and wondering what flange is best to put on it I know the bolt pattern for the gt17 is the same as the t25 flange but I would like the scope to change to a t25 or gt20 in the future if I want to. But I currently want to run the gt17 can you use a gt17 on a t25 flange if so is it direct fit or would it be better in the long run just to go for a 38mm hole like the gt17.
Oh and finaly gaskets if you where to use the gt17 on a t25 manifold would the gasket be a problem ? If so I'll just plump for the 38mm round hole. Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure that the stud pattern is identical on all the turbos you mention above.

It's just the size of the hole that will differ.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Exellent, one more question if I was to fit a gt17 to the t25 square hole flange abd use a t25 gasket would this work ok or be better to go for round hole flange and genuine Saab round hole gasket ? Just wanted to know of any one has used the gt 17 on the square hold falnge and what gasket they used realy ?
Thanks again, I'll get in contact about those nice flanges

Pfft nice flanges lol,

I'm pretty sure robert squared out the inlet on his gt17 to match the metty manifold,

gasket wise, just use a large square one,

slight hi-jack but i've been meaning to ask this, got the gt17 to go on my t3 exhaust manifold, so most people have just squared it off.. no adaptor flangers?

and have most people re-drilled the studs or just slotted the bolt holes on the gt17?
