Hello Guy's, I am looking to modify the oil relief hole to exit into the drop gear area I think i saw this mod on one of the forums. The engine is apart now so i thought this would be a good time to do it. This is for the race car so it sees sustained 8500 redline a lot and all that oil getting shot at the crank can't be good. Pictures or a link would be good too. Aaron

I can't believe no response. This should be an easy one since i see undercrown jets and super high end modifications here all the time. To make it more clear the relief hole in the bottom of the block shoots right into a relief cast in the transmission and deflects it right into the crank. got to be a way around that. Aaron

Hello guys, Not the same mod but the stuff Harry comes up with... Wow. the mod i remember was a copper tube pressed in the the area where the drop gears are and run down into the lower case with the original oil hole plugged. i still think it was here that i saw it. Aaron

Preston On The Brook

just drill a hole in the rear end of the block so that it intersects with the original passage for the drain, job done.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
