get an oil temp gauge in there and test it.
If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Anything over 120 degrees C If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

I'd be worried if oil temps regulary saw 120c, and even if they just frequented, i'd be wanting to fit an oil cooler to try and maintain an oil temp of around 90c.

Don't we agree that the oil should be above 100deg? If not, water won't disappear. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

I think that an oil temp of around 100deg is about ideal.
