I saw a picture on here a while back of a mini with a digital dash fitted. No I know about the usual ones that people fit like Acewll ect and they are all pretty small but this one looked loads bigger and IIRC was eitehr sqaure or rectanglar in shape. Basically it did not look like the regular ones that people fit and at a guess would be a lot more expensive.

Cheers guys but no it was much bigger than that. If anything I would guess it was probably like a race dash or something but im pretty sure it was either square or rectanglular!

Nope definatley bigger than all of those. To be honest im guessing it was somhting similar to that you might find in a F1 car so probably thousands of pounds but it did look sweet. Ive trawled through a years worth of posts now and still cant find it so I might have to give up. |

May be it was an 8-10" LCD or LCD touch screen connected to say a micro-ITX form factor computer running a custom display. They cost a few £100 to put together, run Linux and some sort with tuning software (for example MegaTunix). They can have other capabilities too i.e. data logger, video logger, GPS, etc.

It's unlikely, but might be one of these from the States? I've seen somebody on here (or maybe Mini Worldgazine) with one fitted. Not really rectangular though so i suspect you've seen something else
