There will be a thin film of oil on every surface of the dishwasher.

Good luck explaining that one to the parents*happy*

Superb! which diswasher tablet works best for those stubborn stains then?!

At least you'll have something to say in the "When was the last time you did something dangerous" thread, when they come back and you show them that picture.... lol

trainers would probably be better in whirly parts washer else it will make the gearbox parts smell

as for tablets i used fairy tablets and some fairy liquid for good measure came out lovely and shiny and hot so i had the bearings in the freezer waiting for them to come out of the parts washer and wacked them strait in easy as

I popped my first one out the other day. They seal with a rubber ring, so it's no bother...

I was looking at fastcarls at Bingley. Was pretty light. He was concerned it may wear with use however.

I always thought it screwed in until I actually looked at one.
But as Andy says they are just a snug fit in the hole so you just bash it in.

I did this, the dishwasher now has a dark tint to all the plastic covered shelf things. The runners are crunchy when sliding. Also did you use the dishwasher tablets, they've got something in them that makes the alluminium corrode. And it corrodes quickly!

Thankfully my parents thought there was something wrong with it, to be fair, why would anything but dishes be in there?

I used the oven to heat up the transfer casing the same weekend and got oil all over it.

They're lucky to have me.
