OK - going to be working on this shortly and am putting a bit of thought to the mounts. I'm hoping to use an Audi TT cooler sited over the starter motor area.

All mine are mounted to the body, there is enough flex in the silicon joins to allow for engine movement.

Two choices really, either solid mount it to the engine or mount it to the body with some form of flexible mountings. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

mine was mounted to the subframe and slam panel like an mpi rad

haha, flexible mountings on the Sprint are zip-ties.
