I managed to get, with the turbo, the Saab inlet pipe which is a casting in alloy and has the necessary V band bits and pieces to attach to the compressor inlet.

I cut off just the last 2/3" and the same at the other end and then re-attached them to make a small stub suitable for my application. They could have been welded, but I just used two small pins and good ,ol JB Weld

Mines just got 70mm-50mm silicone bend with a hose clamp on it. It's a bit of a bodge because there's not much to grip onto, but it hasn't fallen off yet!

In the 13's at last!.. Just

tadge44 you appear to have the water cooling connected either side of the inlet manifold, I wouldn't have thought the temp differance across there to be enough to cool the turbo.

Viz - that was an early attempt, I now have water taken from the drain plug at the back of the block and return direct to the rad header tank.Well spotted and thank you for your concern.

I welded a 2" ali pipe into the inlet and went straight off it with a silicone elbow. works a treat.

I found a v-band clamp that fitted. I think it was a 2 1/2".

Still need to make a mating flange on the inlet pipe.

I got the standard inlet And v band clamp. Think it was the cobra type?

I'm planning on cutting it down a bit then attach a silicone/flexible (uncrushable type) pipe to it then filter.
