If you drive it every day then tune it for standard unleaded, save the money. If you drive it once a year up pod and have already spent the other £30K on performance to get 100th's of a second off the time, then tune it for super unleaded. Edited by jamie@thefatgarage on 30th Oct, 2011. |

yeh dont go took my car and he killed it 30+degrees of advance on boost didnt profile me needle on top end so lean as anything as soon as boost come on total disaster & cost me a small fortune just my honest opinion dont go (at the time i didnt know anything about ignition ect so was oblivious to exactly what he was doin at the time) good luck anyway

ive mentioned this in other threads one you posted on if i remember it was about a flat out running problem & the result was the needle had no profile done on wot even tho it was set at 12psi on the rollers ive also talked about this to turbo phil on the phone as he was confirming safe timing figures as i had no clue at the time but the pre ignition took the end off one of the plugs off witch then took one of me valves out signs of det on the pistons pretty much a waist of time for me but i can only say my experience just being honest mate dont want you to have any trouble but like i said i didnt know as much then (still earlier this year) so took it thinking i was goin to get it all done properly didnt have any det devices on when setting up either hope all goes well just my personal opinion

update. Should be there by now but my car had other ideas. The fan has cut through the bottom hose. So waiting for the aa 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

well i got there and peter fixed the hose for me. I got 128bhp at 14psi @ the wheels. Didont go any more boost as the intake temps were baking by then 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |
