Hi - been looking on TM's for a while - although I have been running my Sprite with a turbo for over 18 years. When I first put it together, of course there were no forums, and I had to figure it all out myself - albeit with some inspiration from Vizard's Bible!
Current spec of my car is T3 with 45 trim compressor & .25 A/R turbine housing, -31 actuator set to 7psi boost at the inlet manifold - Metro bleed valve on a dashboard switch kicks it to 15psi when required and blows through a Fiat Punto intercooler. Engine has 8:1 compression ratio, tidied up head, turbo rods, tuftrided Marina crank in a Metro Turbo block (converted for RWD installation - and contrary to what I have read elsewhere, a tubo oil pump WILL fit - just needs some panel beating to get the tin cover to fit & clear the back of the flywheel). Centre main strap, baffled sump, Minispares cam belt, Kent 266, 1.5:1 rockers.
Further back, I've got a 7.5" clutch driving a Toyota 5-speed box, then LSD & uprated halfshafts in original axle - located by tramp bars & panhard rod, & controlled by Spax shocks.
At the front it's got Frontline koni kit at the front, set off by 6Jx13 Aleycats with 185/60 tyres.

Now working on swapping the T3 for a T2 - I've got a few in my collection to choose from, with various compressor trims.

Welcome, there's a few Midgets lurking around here and an A35 but I think you're the first Sprite.

Cheers Rob. Been scooting through Steve1275's stuff - and noting one or two others to check up on. I ran my car at Santa Pod a long time ago - and despite clutch slip I got a 15.1s run. I have also sprinted it and had a go at production car trials too! Like steve1275, I ran a side pipe for a few years - 2" bore and exiting at a more oblique angle. My exhaust system now comes straight off the back of the turbo and down through the tunnel next to the gearbox - so no tight S-bend to get through the gap in the chassis rail. It then goes to the back of the car through a cherry bomb.
