Australia oi oi oi!

doing about 80kph down the higway boom up it flipped.

scared the shit out of me!

did a bit of damage :( mainly ripping the water channels and bending the corners of the bonnet.

the hinges look bent also.

it's a bugger as the car just come back again from the respray after the last drama.

this has never happened before i have a feeling the body shop did not adjust my bonnet right.

i have had a word to them and they said they will look.

i guess i should have double checked everything my self!

shit happens ah well

ring problems are down to wear or abuse but although annoying it isn't a show stopper

Hope you get it sorted out ok,
After my car was resprayed i was on the way home and the bonnet did the same but luckily it stopped on the catch.

On the plus side, this could be a good excuse for some DSN Classics/Retrosport hinges.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I noticed on Sunday that when I got home in the mk1 the only thing holding my bonnet shut was the hook thingy. It was defieintely shut when I left but the catch had not fully returned to the locked position. Will not make that mistake again!
