Halfords tools are pretty good. Most of my tools are from halfords, Lifetime warranty too. Pretty cheap with a trade card to hand, knocked £30 off my torque wrench!

Iirc halfords tools are made by another well known tool company. I can remember some of there bits are very similar if not identical to teng tools and the screw drivers are just like my mac ones but without the magnet ends

My best mate at uni had a set of those and I basically stole them every weekend for tinkering with the mini.

They're actually a very solid set of tools and I would definitely use them again

The one i bought goes from 40-225 ftlbs
It's faultless, I went to check a headgasket my mate was fitting, kept pissing water into the bores before it even ran, went round with mine and job done. Torqued to 55ftlbs, and his at 50 started to tighten :/ Was ancient though.

Ive always used halford proffesional and personally i can understand why anyone would buy snap on instead of these. Life time warranty, ive walked into the shop with a ratchet that ive had a scaff bar on and theyve swapped it no questions asked. Snap on repair faulty tools.
