Sorry to post a question that i'm sure has been asked many times, but for the life of me i couldn't find an answer with the search function.

Do you need to fit a Bulkhead box with the T2 turbo? With either mirage manifolds or modified metro ones?

Thanks

Really? When did that happen?

At least that removes the temptation to spend money instead of getting my hands dirty... looks like i'm modding a metro manifold.

Unless anyone has an old mirage T2 kit they'd like to sell me? *wink*

Oh? I read that as they just stopped stocking the T2 Turbo itself, and that the manifolds were still the same for the new turbos they stock?

you dont need a bulkhead box if using mirage but you do need a bulkhead box if using the metro manifold.

Ahh, thats a pain the the butt.

So its either spend £350 on the manifolds, or roughly 350 getting someone to fit a bulkhead box, as i dont have the skills or the to do to do it..

Spend £350 on a mirage, or £350 to fit a bulkhead box + mess about modding a t3 mani? No contest for me *happy*

Just because Mirage are no longer making the T2 manifold, he may still have some. Worth a ring.

And yes, not fitting a box is the best solution.
