right. without all the mathematical and scientific ideas and all that boring geeky stuff, does it really matter that much if the 3 pipes on the exhaust manifold dont all go into a collector. making a mirage type one so the 3 pipes are in a t shape and im gonna weld a gt1549 flange to the pipe opposite the middle port.

anyone help?

stu

that would be called a 'log manifold' and if you google that under images you will see its been used in many applications and does the job

Stu, you have broken commandment number 10:

http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=258454

Thou shalt, henceforth, return to the land of the dodgy leather jacket until such time that you can see the error in your ways.

Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."
Stephen Hawking - "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge."

Technically he has not broken commandment number 10 since he is already on the quest for more power by ditching the supercharger and fitting a turbo.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
