I have 3 MG Metro Turbo m passi regulators all of which seem to be adjusted differently, ie one screwed quite far out, one mid way, and one quite far in. BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

The nut and screw at the top of the reg sets the static fuel pressure output up when there is no boost into the regulator. Most people set this to 4psi, this is easily done by teeing-in a pressure gauge to the line from your regulator to your carb. With the fuel pump running but the engine off, set the pressure to 4psi by adjusting the screw. Then tighten the locknut. With the engine running and boosting the fuel pressure will then stay 4psi above whatever the boost pressure is. You cannot test this in the garage but if you can position the fuel pressure gauge somewhere you can see it (under a windscreen wiper for example) then drive up the road and watch the fuel pressure gauge as the car comes on boost, you should see it rise.

DB - I fitted a 2wd cossie cooler into a clubby engine bay a few years back. Fits like a dream behind the grille. You need to also cut off and weld over the dump-valve tube. Aside from that - a great intercooler! On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:
