I've got hold of an inertia switch from a rover, which i want to use to cut the fuel pump out incase of an accident. Can anyone tell me how i go about wiring it in? Is it a case of putting it inline to the fuel pump, or something more??

It wires directly inline with the fuel pump power supply (with the switch in it's 'set' position). Pin 1 (common) and 3 (normally closed). You can use the normally open contact, pin 2 to supply 12v to a warning light on the dash making it plain to see that the switch has tripped and the fuel pump is not running, instead of getting confused as to why the engine stalled and then won't start again lol

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:
