This is what i spend my money on this summer...

i have bid on it on german ebay and won it by surprise

so then i realised i had to drive for 5 hours to frankfurt to collect it...
I took a day off, got into my van and started driving...

the beercase has a 125CC and four speed gearbox off a honda moped.
Top speed is about 100km/h

It seems a lot faster because you are so unprotected and close to the ground.
In fact i have not been able to go into 4th gear...
Because there are no fenders the stone chips on the road hit you shins pretty serious.
also your feet are only cm's from the road below...

So in short it's dangerous to drive, but such good fun for burnout, cruizing around at meetings, and popping a wheelie from time to time if you are a bit drunk...

last meet at bitburg i had an accident with it however...
a bit too heavy breaking got me flipping over the steering wheel..

Stoke-on-Trent. Duck.

Love it! Though not sure about the extremely pointy thing just beneath the steering wheel - is it not dangerous enough without adding extra spikes?!

that's the clutch lever and throttle...

you can buy those parts from beercase-wiki.de so they are pretty much standard kit also building plans and all the rest you need... but i am planning to change them with my own design as now you need gloves to be able to drive this thing, they cut your hands open after a while...

if your german is up to spec and you have the time maybe we can race them nic...

here's a good source for parts and manuals

http://www.restaurieren.eu/bierkiste-bauan...hmen/index.html

http://www.wiki-bierkiste.de/wiki/Teileliste

or just do like me and browse german ebay...since building such a thing will set you back about 15OO euros and you can buy them used for +- 500 euros, but then again you don't have the joy of making it yourself...
