I can't seem to find any decent 1100 pistons.
If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

It's that revs that kill 1100, so a turbo conversion with a max rpm of 6500 is the best way to go. A reliable 120bhp or more should be doable. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Should produce good torque too with the longer stroke. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Have you tried the local NI mini forums? I have had a few heavy things including bottom ends sent from England without too much grief. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

I might be wrong but I think they will sit proud of the block 3,5 mm (they share the same rods and block height so it is just extra stroke divided by 2) Rusty by nature

for what it is worth, back in the distant, I ran an 1100 with an MG metro cam and 295 head, lcb and HIF carb. the car performed as well as the replacement mg metro engine i put in afterwards with the exception of less torque. |

I had something similar, 1098 +20, 270 piper cam, 295 head, lcb, etc, at the time it was just as quick as my mates 1275 carb Cooper.
