Hello to all on the site,
I was just searching on google and noticed the site.
Iv got 2 turbo minis so thought id join.
One is a 1968 mini with 1293 a-series turbo motor and the other a 1988 mini with 1100 a-series turbo motor.
Both on totally different paths, 68 being a miglia show car and the 88 a rat car (wolf in sheeps clothing)
Will get some pics up and progress blogs when I can but for now.... hello!!

This is about the best welcome iv ever had on to a site!! Thanks guys.
68 is a long going project, but I will put up a progress blog of it.
88 is my every day car and unfortunately on its last mot the engine gave up after making it run like a bag of nails to get it through emissions, head gasket had blown, carb was leaking etc etc.

So I took it off the road after giving it a fresh 12 months mot, tax and insurance only for it to sit on the drive while I build the 1100 turbo engine from spare parts iv got.
4 months and still on the drive its as bad as murder!!!
Poor car is not taking well to this neglect which has taken me down the rat look. But engine is just awaiting its lightened flywheel and turbo clutch for its complete rebuild then its being dropped in.

Ben h what can I say I can't believe I didn't see it before as well.
