Looks like the "shelve" has been trimmed back and the pockets removed.

If you really want to add the weight back in, I would get the measurements of a whole rear seat panel, cut a piece of steel to match the bit you need and weld on and add brakets at each end as well as the middle and not bother with reinstalling the pockets, what do the lower outer ends you seat belts mount to ?

BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

You need to find someone that is removing these parts and ask nicely if you can pinch them. You'll then need to weld them in.

I might be doing this in the not do distant future.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

Clearly states in the auction its all been removed, the advice has already been given you need to reinstall the pockets and seat base if you want to run standard seatbelts otherwise you are stuck with race harnesses

Rear bins, you can then make up a piece to fit the seat on once those are fitted.

As the others have said, you'll need to weld the bits back in if you want a back seat; the first question is - do you want/need the back seat?

if you need the back seat, I'd seriously consider buying the new panels Carl has noted above as 9 times out of 10, second hand panels will be a bit bashed and damaged from removal at least, if not affected by a bit of rot along the base. While you could make up the seat base panel, it may be worth getting this section out of a scrap car.

I never checked the price of the pockets before; not that bad really.

For the seat base, you have to buy the whole boot floor. It's a bit involved to replace the whole thing.

In theory yes, but you will need to add strengthening bits to it...

The standard rear bench bit has ribs in it.
