Lovely car but physically too small for me (so many are !) and that Lotus/Ford engine can turn out to be a money pit. |

His choices where limited out there. He tried to get one that was tatty but running from ebay, but it topped $15k. That ones was $10k and is in better knick. The proof of the good deals is how well it runs, or not... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

The choke in there is a 30, but the car should have a 33. It's likely to be either the wrong carb or it's been badly tuned. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Nice car, sounds a little rough but I bet it's good to know it runs after 15 years! I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

The valve clearances are a little tight and the fuelling needs sorting out. All 4 cylinders are 195-200psi on the compression tester. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
