I went ,for the fifth year in succession, and, once again, was the only A35 there.

Got three runs up the hill, with, though I say it myself, three brilliant launches and my best run had the highest terminal speed ever -over 80, on the 1 in 4 final climb.

Blotted my copybook though on the third run when fuel surge uncovered the outlet from the tank (low fuel to save weight) and it cut and then re started when the fuel sloshed forward again, twice before I got to the top. Been invited to go back next year too, as the crowd seem to like it.

My neighbour took the pic attached, but I cocked up the video cam that I was hoping to record at least one climb.

Good effort, well done. That picture looks like it could have been taken 30 years ago.

I missed it this year for the first time in 4 years. will definitely be there next year. I heard it was even bigger this year?

The show was really big this year! Shame I missed your run up the hill, the napier did indeed run up the hill this year. But i wasn't fortunate to catch it going up :(

I was invited to this. A friends girlfriend lives nearby. Shame we couldn't make it.

Out of interest, what regulations are there to get your car on the track? I'd quite fancy a run or two next year.
