You need to cut the piece on the right at an angle. There's a few threads lurking if you have a search.

from the top of my head you will need room there for the air intake hose, possibly the actuator on a metty t3 setup, though its been a while since I had the metty t3 on my car.

As stated above, actuator and a decent size/shape inlet hose on the T3.

for what it is worth, I don't have the angled section on mine, however I had the box made longer to start with.

I don't have the diagonal section on mine either and never had a problem. But any space to be gained in that area will make life easier.

for my k1200 head, im thinking about installing the turbo in the weber box and running the manifold almost straight back. Anyone see why this would be a bad idea as most turbo boxes are cut into this lower area? Also avoids cutting a big hole in that strong cross member.
