Hi all.. Another newbie joining up!

Briefly, as my username suggests, I'm a GTM owner.. more specifically a Coupe owner. Decided on a Coupe as my first car was a Mini Clubman 1100 (loved it!), and thought it'd be an interesting alternative. I've owned it since the early nineties, ran it for a few years and then set about a very long term rebuild project..

I had designs on converting it to k-power, but have decided that it's beyond my facilities to attempt a decent enough job. So, I've now gone back to my original plan of an a-series turbo engine. Plus it retains a certain originality if I use one of the intended power plants, albeit with a blower attached.

I bought a turbo lump many years ago and still have it in stripped form. Need to replace and source a few parts though. I'm intending to tweak it mildly, 120ish bhp would be nice, but not go too mad (expensive!) as I've been in a standard Coupe turbo and it was entertaining as it was.

Stuart (turbocox) on here has a few gtm's. One, his early cox, with a turbo a-series. May be of interest?

This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting.

Sure is.. I've bumped into Red Bull's finest before now.. am also on gtmdrivers.com as "eupoC MTG" but not posted in a while.

That's what I like to hear, other people's experience to make my life that little bit easier (but not necessarily cheaper..)! *smiley*

Meanwhile, if anyone knows the whereabouts of a Mini Clubman 1100 LOV446P, let me know. It was my very first car and I'd buy it back (even if it's just the reg). I've done the usual searches, but there's nothing better than word of mouth. It's not been taxed in 20 years or so, so it's more than likely to be baked bean tins or similar by now.. or maybe a building superstructure in China.. *oh well*
