It's really easy. Just remember that the thread that holds the compressor wheel on is left handed.

I rebuilt my t3. Wasnt too bad a job at all. I marked the rotating assembly and put it back together as it came apart. Done a few thousand miles on it now, its performed perfectly. Double check the thread though. All over the net it stated that the thread on my t3 was left handed, ot wasnt though. So there could be some variation. Mark it all up, keep it all clean and take your time. It was a satisfying job. Cheers, dan |

Whilst it is sound advice to have the rotating assembly balanced after a rebuild, I have rebuilt two GT1752,s and did not have them balanced - no probs so far.

Just make sure it all goes back in the same orientation, and you should be fine. I would imagine most turbo rebuild companies wouldn't just balance a turbo someone else has rebuilt, because if it all goes wrong they wouldn't want anyone going back to them passing blame. They may do, just my opinion of what i'd expect them to say. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel
