most on this forum use A+ blocks. Therefore the answer you are looking for needs the right person to either know the info off hand, or be bothered to take their hands out the arse end of the turky and get them oily and measure it specifically for you. If I had an A block I would have been kind enough to measure this for you, but I don't.

The easy option would be to buy one.

Also, these 'plugs' started a huge farce a few years back, lol

Just find an appropriately sized core plug and bang that in.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

You just need a Ducellier, a hacksaw, suitable tap and bolt. Cut the dizzy just above the flange, knock out the internals. Run a tap down the centre and fit the bolt.

Did Ducellier make a distributor for the A Block?

I measured 26.6mm; that is the hole with the twin threaded hole attachment still in place.
Also an A+, this came to 26.4mm is the difference that small?

Dazed and Confused....

Looks like an MRA Minis A+ blank would fit nicely in an A block seeing as it neets a hammer to fit in an A+ block *hehe!*

*Edit. Are you suggesting you leave the insert in place on the A block? The plug above replaces the lot.

personally id be looking to replace the lot to avoid leaks and ease fitment n most important SAVE WEIGHT
from looking at the pics the hold down tab looks a different length from a to a+ perhaps thats the difference as surly the rubber o ring can take up a decant amount of hear or there?

yo-han did you measure the distance from bolt center line to blank hole center line?

I tried pulling it out, but wasn't able to.
TBH as I just popped in to do measure it up I didn't have a thorough look at whether it is possible to get the thingy out. (I did remove the single bolt and was able to rotate it, just couldn't get it out)

Taking it out was my initial thought, just wasn't able to do it easily (as above, didn't change in old clothes).

I measured hole diameter.
It's a very scruffy looking block in a corner, don't have a distributor for it otherwise I would have measured that up for you.
Must be someone on here able to comment on how the get the part out.

If you want I can give it another look after Xmas and pull the block out of the corner.

Edit: Merry Christmas!
