What sort of oil feeds do people use when building a turbo engine? Standard metro turbo or can it be a universal kit? It would be for fitting a T2 turbo. Any suggestions ? |

I've usually go to my local hydraulics place and get a hose made up. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Is there any reason why I couldn't use copper brake pipe with the right ends on? Braded pipes can be quite expensive from what ive seen. |

No reason you can't do that, but the last turbo oil feed I had made cost £15. I use:

think i payed like 25 aud for mine custom made some plastic type material that is good for hot engine oil with a stainless over Brade nice crimped AN type ends

Hmmm, its diffinately an option. What ends do I need? I'll need a t piece wont I to split off from the oil pressure switch? And do I need to use a banjo type bolt on the turbo side? |

banjo on the turbo end (M12 x 1mm or M14x 1mm from memory). Get one of these for the block end:

on the astra , I just used a rubber oil pipe and a couple of ends .
