Hi chaps - Dropping NA engine into my Sprite while I rebuild the turbo engine. Spare engine has nice cylinder head (and a few other mods), but is not unleaded converted, so I plan to run with lead replacement additive. As I also want to teach myself needle profiling & tuning with lambda sensor, I was going to practice on this before going to the presumably more tricky turbo setup. Now the question - will the fuel additive affect the accuracy of the lambda sensor? Would it even wreck it??
Thanks!

As long as there is no lead in it, you'll be fine.

but most LRP additives really arent that good. If it's a low mileage vehicle you might be ok for a while though. If you intend to use it, you'd really be best having the head work done

speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

OK, thanks. Will be worth welding a sensor boss into the LCB then. Car does low miles, so VSR shouldn't be too much of an issue in this incarnation
