Today I wanted to get TDC, put it in gear, could hear and feel it go into gear. I have a remote box and could see the links working. went to roll it but nothing, tried all the gears including reverse still nothing, so I am guessing that I have missed something. I guess something key aswell.*Clapping* but I am sure everything is in.

Before I take the engine out, thought I would ask on here before I do.*smiley*

what wok, plunger, throw out bearing, clutch system are you using?

there are apparently 2 types of wok one of them binds up and releases the clutch as its bolted up if it has the wrong plunger in

ive only heard of this once and it was with non stock parts though

I did not know there where different types of wok, so could not say which one I have, I just put the one I had back on.
Clutch wise I have a grey , new clutch and back plate.
I also thought of the plunger last night, so took the tension off.

So thinking now to take the wok off and see if that does anything.

The fault i poster is probabaly the worst case scenario lol, the plunger could just be stuck! I would have thought if you take the weight of the engine and loosen the wok securing bolts around the edge then try to turn a wheel with it in gear
Maybe thats a little fastwr than.diving in there to strip it down

clutch is now off. the primary gear is spinning which would confirm I have idler gear in. It is as though it is in neutral all the time. I have tried all the gears and still nothing.

Sounds like a non-existent clutch plate *smiley*

I had an issue with no drive a while back, just after I had installed my RTS clutch. Stripped it all down to check, but all was ok.
Turned out one of the retaining clips had snapped in half on the outer CV joint letting the drive shaft come out of the cv joint.

Just a thought...

So was this a complete running, working normally car for many miles previous...

Or is there more to the story ?

ie a rebuild or other work involved ?
