Been looking at getting a limited slip diff for my track race mini, but they are very expensive. I came across this kit to covert a standard mini diff into a limited slip one.

Has anyone got any experience in using one of these? The price is pretty reasonable, but as they say you get what you pay for....

yuk!

for that price, or not a lot more you should be able to pick up a used tranex plate diff, which will be pretty bomb proof, or for about double a quaife.

Doesn't appear to be compatible with twin pin diffs, so you'd have to fit it in a weak standard diff. As a performance part it's flawed from the start

Are you serious? Just because someone races in Miglias doesn't mean he is adverse from peddling crap. Especially crap with high profit margins to help him more easily buy tyres and entry fees...
Search for phantom grip junk or phantom grip crap or words to that effect on the interwebs.

The name "Phantom Grip" has to be a joke, right? It would be hard to pick a more inappropriate name - perhaps "Sham Traction".

Thanks for the replies, looks like I'll just save up for the swiftune atb.

But...

How bad can it be??? Could it be an improvement over a regular diff in a 80hp na engined mini?
