Just a heads up.

Innovate have now brought out some gauges that can be daisy-chained together to provide a datastream that can be displayed on a Laptop/Tablet and also logged for analsys.

The MTX-D wideband O2 sensor/gauge has now been joined by the MTX-L series of gauges. As well as Oil Pressure, Water Temp etc, they also do a boost/shift gauge that could be used to log O2 data vs boost and rpm for tuning purposes.

Just thought that this would be just as useful with a carb setup as it is for injection.

I've got the MTX Wide band in mine (carb), very good piece of kit. Bought it as I wanted to fine tune my carb instead spending a fortune at the rollers.

Plan on using Mega Squirt when it comes around to injecting it, which I believe the MTX can feed into.

I've also got the oil temp and pressure gauge, but I've not fitted it yet.

Looks good, but I'll wait several months before buying, after the LM2 debacle...

Yes, Innovate have a chequered past. I gave all my Innovate stuff away at one point and moved to AEM but have decided to give Innovate another chance on my latest build.

I've not seen the E8 error, but then the engine has not run yet.

The story so far: http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.p...d=559956&fr=175

I do read about sensors failing on all sorts of controllers, so I'm not sure that it is just Innovate widebands.

Innovate definitely has more faulty sensors than any other brand I've used. It's a shame, as their products are actually very good quality.

Thats my concern, i dont want to fork out for the innovate gauge and then potentially a new sensor, as i might as well get the stack gauge

I've always used AEM, must have fitted half a dozen+ now. Only 1 failure which was due to a dropped sensor.

There are so many wideband options these days, just depends what any ultimate goal is.

Innovate is handy because or their logging software, ability to daisychain multiple devices etc etc

But then if you're using a half decent ecu, it would do all the logging anyway without the need for loads of boxes.

If no ecu, then AEM Failsafe, Zeitronix, Daytona Sensors, FAST or some 14.7 ( I think ) and some others all have some onboard logging ability which can be handy for the less complex builds.
