My GT17 has an oil and water feed - I assume I should connect both up?

Where do I take an oil feed from?
Is the best place to return it, to the fuel pump blank plate?
What are the turbo fittings for this?

Does it matter where I take a water feed from? I was thinking about getting rid of the heated intake manifold, so could connect it inline there?

Take off from oil switch.

Thats for oil feed, as for drain, yes fuel pump hole works very well. Make sure its nice and free and not uphill.

Water, i'm using similar to what the heater does. Not ideal but works.

Shauna's has a takeoff from the oil pressure switch, off a tee for the oil pressure gauge line, all the fixtures fittings and hose (brake line, more than adequate feed) were from Lister motorsport.

Water feed is best taken from the back of the block, manifold side, and returned to the top tank of the rad so that there will be a thermo syphon effect after the engine stops. Boss there will need drilling and tapping. It is said that there is a slightly higher pressure there when the engine is running, which will assist circulation through the turbo.

Thanks guys. Sorted on the oil feed then.

How do you mean, taking water feed from back of the block, manifold side?

There is a drain plug on the back of the block, clutch side if I remember correctly

This thread shows where you will either have a drain plug on the block, or possibly just a boss that needs drilling and tapping. http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=582312

Thanks - do you know what thread the drain plug is (if it has one)?

No idea, personally. The blocks I have don't have a drain plug.
