Like tom says - just make somet!
Here is a drawing of what you need to be making for the TPS shaft - basically it replaces one of the nuts on the spindle shaft. All you need to do is file two flats on it so you can tighten it up. Then you need to position your 'pot' in the orientation you want, and mark where you want the flat to be on the 7.95 diameter for driving the TPS spindle.

When mounting, the TPS bracket must be perfectly aligned with the spindle, or you'll damage your TPS after only a short time.
Take your time, do it right.

Couldn't you spin that up from some hexagonal stock- would save you the job of filing flats on.

Yep, turning it from 7/16" hex would be ideal. But not the most common stuff found in workshops - so i just took the easy option and made it in alloy and filed some flats!

I thought the MJ didn't use a TPS - or is that the MS?

Anyways - get a quote, and get a few made if you think it's worth it...

I don't know about the MJ, but one input to the MS is TPS. Its not used for ignition calculations though. I am plannung on fitting one so that we can datalog runs and campare throttle usage between drivers. Could have some interesting results..

Any takers?

Dave,

For the ignition it is just MAP and RPM, for the injection it also uses the TPS. Obviously it takes into account engine temp and lambda too for the injection.

I'd say that's good - a BSF tap alone would cost that!
