must have gromets where they go through the body, and be securely fastened inside the car.

think there are a few good/bad points for doing this mainly cos if it splits inside the car hot fuel might "sting" a bit lol, this is the only reason i didnt put mine inside the car |

My fuel, fuel return and battery lines have been inside the car for about seven years now. Never had any MOT trouble.

I'm using PU coated pipes through the car, there a nice pretty blue colour, 5/16th copper underneath but the coating will help to protect them and adds another layer if you do get a leak in the copper.
BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

its all ok internal but.. if it goes pear shaped! you may be in the deep stuff! You could say the same if they were on the outside - imagine crashing onto something like a wall / fence / whatever and it slicing through your fuel-line which is on the floor of your car - could be just as bad if not worse than fuel leaking inside the car. |

I personally agree with Ben, the only cars I would place internal fuel lines on are race or rally cars.

Up to you what you use, you could either use rubber fuel hose, braided fuel hose, or solid pipe, either copper or kunifer.
