Ok, so with turbo you dont do big bore, but big cc means power- so what about long stroke and .020 overbore?
I seriously doubt it! |

73.5 mm omegas then get the tops turned down, put it on a stroked crank and you got ureself 1480cc the omegas are very tough i used em on high compression race engines and they last very well !!!! got a nice thick crown on em too

And keeping compresssion down would be a nightmare with such CCs.... On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

say we had a 86mm crank instead of the standard 81mm its getting a piston to do the job with the correct pin to crown height & right amount of cc in the dish! does any one know of pistons to accommodate bigger strokes for our turbo applications larger strokes are the way to go with the A series Turbo. as we know the rpm to be kept under 6500 rpm and the turbo is nothing more than a torque multiplier so strokers is the way forward FOR BIG POWER
i have a 84.3 mm full monty crank and genuine cooper s rods tbh i have not put a huge amount of thought into it the pistons i was hoping to get some help/info from here i want to build it on a budget really as i have enough parts to builld 2 engines although i want to use the best parts in the standard stroke engine just because its a proven combination and the stroker is a bit of a unknown Crystal Sound Audio said:
