What parts can be bent, damaged, broken or missing to cause the inner cv joint to not sit in the pot far enough?

Do you have the right shaft on the right side? The 2 shafts are different lengths. I seriously doubt it! |

Thanks for the idea's, but it's the nearside i have the problem which is the shorter shaft anyway.
